Titanfall 2 Speedrunning

I think I've finally figured out the best way to slow down when entering the gauntlet after your first runthrough. you just backwards dj (make sure you're out of the lurch window!!) then tap and hold back asap afterwards, doing it roughly in the area outlined in this image.

The first thing I would like to post about here is this cheeky little slope boost you can do by double jumping into the ceiling right before the battery 2 grab on BT. I believe it's an upside down slope boost since the ceiling is slanted slightly upward. Not sure how well this is known. cheeky ...
